Common Medical Entrance Test from 2012:

A Common All-India Medical Entrance Examination has been suggested from 2012 for Medical colleges across the country. There are 300 Medical colleges and 1.6 lakh aspirants across the country every year.
The move was announced formally on day one of the two-day National Conclave of Vice Chancellors of Medical Universities held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (Yashada) on May 6, 2011.
Chairman of the Board of Governors in Medical Council of India (MCI), Dr. S. K. Sarin, announced the urgent need for a Common National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) that would be common for all aspirants entering Medical education.
Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Dr. Arun Jamkar, the organiser of the conclave told the audience, "An entrance test has already been proposed by the MCI and it will be implemented from 2012."

Common Entrance for MBBS in India - National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2012):
The Medical Council of India (MCI) will be conducting a common medical entrance test for admission to undergraduate (UG) medical courses for the academic year of 2012-2013 in various institutes across India in May 2012.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2012) is a common entrance for admission to MBBS, super specialty courses in India. The NEET-UG 2012 will be conducted as per the directives of the Supreme Court.

Syllabus for NEET-UG-2012:
The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommends the syllabus for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS courses across the country (NEETUG) after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) and Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE). This is to establish uniformity across the country keeping in view the relevance of different areas in medical education.

I HAVE A HUMBLE REQUEST TO THE RESPECTED IS THAT THE KPMCMA MBBS ENTRANCE TEST MAY CONDUCT IN THE WRITE MANNER FOR THE GOODNESS OF OUR STUDENTS AND THE GOODNESS OF KERALA . IF THE CANDIDATE QUALIFY THE KPMCMA ENTRANCE TEST, THEY SHOULD INCLUDED IN THE MERIT LIST OF KEAM-2012.
