4 Simple Ways to Reduce Stress | Tip's to Reduce Mental Stress | Got Stress ?? Shake Off the Grind
How many of us suffer from stress- whether it is from work, school, relationships, or a combination of the three? The answer is all of us! Life has way too many distractions and it can be very hard to get away from them. Too much stress can affect your life and health and fitness level in negative ways. If you learn how to cope with your stress you will live a better, healthier, and longer life. Don’t become the person that lets stress control every moment of their lives.
I made up a list of ways to reduce your stress levels. Follow the mentioned tip's which will lead you to the road of success
Exercise:
First on the list because I feel like exercise is a great stress reducer. How many of you feel great and worry free after a good workout. When you exercise you release chemicals in your brain called endorphins, which give you a happy feeling like you can do everything and there isn’t anything bad in the world. Start exercising once you finish reading this article. Recommendations: at least four days a week of 30 minutes to help reduce stress. Pick something that you enjoy doing; anything from walking, to swimming, to bike riding, to weight lifting.
Get a Massage:
People say it everyday, I need a massage. Well, go out and get one if you don’t have someone to give you one already. This can be excellent to reduce stress, is very relaxing and enjoyable. There are so many different types of massages available, so pick one that you like and can afford. If your funds are low use the massage chair at the mall! When you get a massage you are removing all of the tension out of your body and you will feel like a million bucks afterwards.
Meditation:
I personally use this one myself. Here is how: go to a quiet room alone, and empty your mind of everything! Focus on your body and breathing patterns then slowly isolate and contract various muscle groups for ten seconds then relax. This puts your muscles in a state of relaxation. Try doing this to soft sounds like slow classical music, the rainforest, or the beach. After you do this, I guarantee you will do this every week. Recommendation: mediate for at least 10 minutes a day.
Sleep:
Everyone feels great after a good nap or waking up after getting a full 8-10 hours of sleep. You need sleep and it’s very shocking that 85% of Americans are actually suffering from sleep deprivation. The less sleep you get, the more your body suffers. It is in sleep that your body heals itself, rejuvenates, and relaxes. If you start getting more sleep you will have less stress, have better focus, and better memory.
