South Asian University invites application for following courses for academic year 2012:

MA (Development Economics)
MA (International Relations)
MA (Sociology)
M.Sc (Biotechnology)
M.Sc (Computer Science)
M.Sc (Applied Mathematics)
LL.M (Master of Law)

Eligibility For:
MA (Development Economics)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade plus Mathematics as a subject of study at 12th Class or Bachelor’s level

MA (International Relations)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade

MA (Sociology)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree from any discipline in Social Sciences / Humanities from a recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade

M.Sc (Biotechnology)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Basic Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) / Agriculture and allied sciences / Veterinary and allied sciences / Engineering in (Biotechnology / Biochemical Technology / Biomedical Engg. / Chemical Engg.), from an institution recognized by the government of the respective SAARC countries, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade. Students, who have not studied Biology at Bachelor’s level, must have studied and passed Biology as a subject at 10+2 (12th Class) level

M.Sc (Computer Science)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant area from a recognized University, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade

M.Sc (Applied Mathematics)
Candidate should have B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) / B.Tech degree from a recognized University with at least two years “course work” in Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade

LL.M (Master of Law)
Candidate must have LL.B degree from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on Entrance Test score conducted by South Asian University (SAU).
Entrance Exam will be held in 2 sessions Morning Session and Afternoon Session.

In Morning Session following courses are covered:
MA (Development Economics)
MA (International Relations)
M.Sc (Computer Science)
LL.M

In Afternoon Session following courses are covered:
MA (Sociology)
M.Sc (Biotechnology)
M.Sc (Applied Mathematics)

How To Apply:
Download the application form, from website and then fill it clearly in your own handwriting, (preferably using a black pen), and mail it so that it reaches SAU latest by 20-Apr-2012. Please be careful in giving all the required information on the application form. Partially filled/incomplete forms will not be considered. Applications sent by Email will not be accepted.
