National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology, Admission 2012

National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology invites application for MA and Ph.D for following areas for academic year 2012:

• History of Art
• Conservation
• Museology

Eligibility:
For MA in History of Art
Candidate must have Graduate Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade at the graduate level, students from background in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts or Fine Arts are prefered

For MA in Conservation
Candidate must have Graduation or Post-graduation Degree with any one of the following subjects:
Chemistry / Physics / Geology / Botany / Zoology / Computer Sci. / Fine Arts / History / History of Art / Architecture / Archaeology / Museology / Designing
OR
Diploma recognized as equivalent to graduation degree in above fields

For MA in Museology
Candidate should have BA / B.Sc (Hons.) or BA / B.Sc / BFA (3 years) in any discipline under Humanities and Social Sciences or PG Diploma in subjects related to History of Art and Museum Studies may also apply

For Ph.D
A masters degree from a recognized University / Institution of higher learning with high second class (55% marks) in the subject concerned or related subject

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on written test score and performance in interview.
