SRMEE 2013 | SRM University Invites Applications for SRM Entrance Examination (SRMEE 2013)

Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University (SRMU), Tamil Nadu has announced the dates for SRM Entrance Examination (SRMEE Exam 2013).

The SRMEE 2013 Exam will be conducted in two modes:
Offline Mode: will be pen and paper based and will be conducted on 20th April, 2013, Saturday from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.
Online Mode: will be conducted in 4 slots on 20th April, 2013 and 21st April, 2013.

SRM University is one of the top universities in India. It offers an extensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in engineering, science, technology, medicine and management.
SRMEE 2013 is being conducted for students seeking admission to B.Tech., B.Des., B.Arch., M.Tech., M.Arch., Master of Business Administration (MBA), Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM), Postgraduate Program in Retail Management (PGPRM) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses in the university.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMEE 2013:
For B.Tech - A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (a) For all programs: Minimum 70% aggregate in mathematics, physics & Chemistry (b) For biotechnology, Bioinformatics, biomedical engineering and genetic engineering: Minimum 70% aggregate in maths/biology, physics and chemistry.
B.Des - A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum total aggregate of 70%.
B.Arch – (a) A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 70% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 70% aggregate marks.
(b) A pass in National Aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
All other programs - A pass with minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying examinations.

• You can also download SRMEE 2012 application form from official website of SRM university (http://www.srmuniv.ac.in).

You can send your duly filled SRMEE 2013 application form with Demand Draft of Rs 900 drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai to

Eligibility:
For B.Tech

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology with 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category)

 
For B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

• Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology course of a duration of 3 years or more from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks in the aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) of all semesters

For B.Arch

• 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board / University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) aggregate marks

Or 

• Candidates with 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by central / State Governments with 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in aggregate

Or 

• International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of Examination

For B.Tech / B.Tech (Lateral Entry) 
Selection of candidate is based on AIEEE / LEET (for B.Tech 2nd year) score and qualifying exam.

For B.Arch
Selection of candidate is based on NATA score and marks in qualifying exam.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) BE Admission 2012

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) invites application for admission to BE in Printing Technology in collaboration with Maharashtra Mudran Parishad’s Institute of Printing Technology and Research (MNPIPTR) for academic year 2012.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936, as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. At the height of economic depression in the 1930s, the trustees of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust willed to create an institution to train human service professionals to address acute poverty, destitution, unemployment, and other social and economic problems. The Trust invited Prof. Clifford Manshardt of Chicago University to establish the School of Social Work. In the subsequent decades, TISS influenced the direction of social work education and social research in India and Asia. In 1944, the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. In 1964, University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India (GoI) recognized the Institute as a Deemed University, and fully funds its maintenance. TISS is currently celebrating 75 years of contribution to the nation.

• Candidates should have passed HSC Science (English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) with minimum 45% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Category candidates
