IISWBM, Management Admission 2012

Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) is the first Management Institute in India, which completed fifty years of existence on April 25, 2003. It was established in 1953 by Dr. B.C. Roy the then Chief Minister of West Bengal, as the Founder-President and Prof. D.K. Sanyal as the first Director. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India laid the Foundation stone of Academic Block of the Institute in 1958. The Government of India in recognition of 50 years of glorious existence of die Institute as the first B-School in the country, released a Commemorative Postage Stamp on IISWBM on 25-Apri-2004.

Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM) invites application for following courses for academic year 2012:

• Master of Public System Management (MPSM)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management (PGDRM)

Eligibility:
For MPSM
Candidate must have Honours Graduate in any discipline or Graduate in Engineering / Medical Sciences

For MBA
Candidate must have Honours Graduate in any discipline or Graduate in any professional course (Engineering etc.) or LL.B of a recognized university with minimum 2 years work experience

For PGDBM
Candidate must have Graduate in any discipline or Graduate in Engineering or LL.B with 1 year work experience

For PGDRM
Candidate must have Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks from a recognized university or institution

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on MAT score and performance in GD / PI
