The online registration for the admission test (JEE) to the Indian Institutes of Technology began on Monday . IIT aspirants can log on to to the website to fill up the online application form .
This year there has been a change in the eligibility criteria for admission to the IITs.
Candidates must score at least 10% marks in each of the three subjects - physics chemistry and maths - and a minimum aggregate of 35% to figure on the common rank list. Till last year the minimum qualifying marks in JEE were worked out after calculating the average of the marks scored by all the candidates who wrote the exam.
Students can log on to the IIT website to fill up the form for JEE, which will be held on April 8 next year. Forms will be available over the counter only from November 11. The last date for registering online is December 10.
