AMMI-MBA/MMS CET for MBA/Management Aspirants again for Students who Missed it
MBA aspirants are in for good news as a second common entrance test (CET) would be conducted at the institute level shortly. The association of management of MBA and masters in management studies (MMS) institutes (AMMI-MBA and MMS) will be conducting a second CET for those who missed the first exam, group discussion (GD), personal interview (PI) or verification at application receipt centres (ARCs).
Aspirants who failed to appear for the exam conducted by the state government can again apply for this entrance. A permission to conduct CET has been granted to the association.
Students may have missed the first CET for numerous reasons so a second opportunity has been given to them who are keen to appear for the MBA entrance.
Many aspirants had to back out because they missed their GD, PI or the document verification was not done within the deadline stated. The students of Maharashtra and outside are also allowed to appear for the institute level entrance.
For those who long to pursue the field of management, the association has encouraged most students to derive benefits of this opportunity. Director of NIT business school, Mohit Kumar informed TOI that the institute level CET as a second entrance exam for MBA proves to be a boon for students.
He said, "Those who wish to pursue IGNOU MBA can also appear for AMMI-MBA/MMS CET. 92, 166 students applied for the first CET entrance exam this year and 89, 620 students appeared for it. The prospectus is available now even at our institute."
The last date of submission of application forms is July 28 and the exam will be conducted on July 31. The sale of information brochure has started at various MBA institutes including NIT graduate school of management and costs Rs. 800. CET, GD and PI will be held on July 31 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and the results will be declared afternoon 12 pm on August 12.
