Chettinad Academy of Research & Education invites application for following courses for academic year 2012:

• MBBS
• B.Sc Nursing
• Post B.Sc Nursing
• B.Sc Allied Health Sciences
• Post Basic Diploma in Nursing

Eligibility:
For MBBS

• Candidate must have passed HSC / CBSE / ISCE in subject of physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 75% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany and Zoology

For B.Sc Allied Health Sciences

• Candidate should have passed in Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate. -5% relaxation of marks for SC / ST candidates

For B.Sc Nursing

• Candidate must have passed in Higher Secondary / equivalent examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for SC / ST candidates)

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

• Candidate should have:
• Registered nurse and / or registered midwife (RN & / or RM) after GNM
• Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission

For Post Basic Diploma in Nursing

• Candidate should have passed in GNM or Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on All India Level Common Under Graduate Medical Entrance Examination score conducted by Chettinad University.

How To Apply:

• Application along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 1000/- for MBBS and Rs. 100/- for other courses, made through cash / Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, payable at Chennai.
• The form can be obtained in person / through post / may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by a DD drawn in favor of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, payable at Chennai.
