ILBS, Medical Admission 2012

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi as an Autonomous Institute, under the Societies Registration Act - 1860, at New Delhi. ILBS has been given the status of Deemed University by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The mission of ILBS is to become a dedicated international centre of excellence for the diagnosis, management and advanced training and research in the field of liver and biliary diseases.

Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences invites application for following courses for academic year 2012:

• DM Hepatology
• M.Ch HPB Surgery
• Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences
• PDCC in Liver Transplant Anesthesia
• PDCC in HPB Interventional Radiology

Eligibility:
For DM Hepatology
Candidate must possess:
MBBS degree recognized by the MCI
MS / DNB degree in Medicine or Pediatrics recognized by the MCI

For M.Ch Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery:
Candidate must possess:
MBBS degree recognized by the MCI
MS / DNB degree in General Surgery recognized by the MCI

For Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences:
A degree of Master of Sciences or Masters degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diploma of the National Board of Examinations or MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

For PDCC in Liver Transplant Anesthesia:
Candidate must have MD / DNB Degree in Anesthesia recognized by MCI

For PDCC in HPB Interventional Radiology:
Candidate must have MD / DNB Degree in Radiology recognized by MCI

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on Entrance test score conducted by Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences.

Candidate may download the prospectus along with the application form from the ILBS website (www.ilbs.in). Candidate must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying.

Application form duly filled in with all necessary documents attached should be submitted in parson or sent by post to the Associate Dean, Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070 on or before 5:00 PM of 31-May-2012.

Application form must be accompanied by the application fee in form of Demand Draft for Rs. 2500/- (Rupees two thousand five hundred) only, payable at New Delhi, in favor of the “Director, ILBS, New Delhi.
