IIIT, Delhi, B.Tech Admission 2012

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) invites application for B.Tech course for following specializations for academic year 2012:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

The core mandate of IIIT-Delhi is to take forward the state of the art in IT through education and research. So far the primary foci were the computing and the software aspects of IT. The institute is now starting a B.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) to focus also on the communication and the hardware aspects of IT. With the introduction of this separate B.Tech program, it is necessary to rename B.Tech in IT to B.Tech in CSE. The curriculum of the current B.Tech program is already well aligned to a Computer Science and Engineering program, as the entire core computing courses of a typical CSE program are included in the core of current program, and overall computing courses are more than that of a typical CSE program.

Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed 12th Board examination with minimum 80% or more marks in aggregate or 80% or more in Mathematics

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on Exam score conducted by Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi.
