Eligibility:
For M.Tech
Aerospace Engineering (Guided Missiles or Air Armament):

• Candidate should have BE / B.Tech degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Chemical /Instrumentation

Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Sucurity):

• Candidate should have BE / B.Tech in Computers / Electronics / Electrical /Communication / IT or M.Sc in Computer discipline

Electronics Engineering (Radars & Communication or Defence Electronics Systems):

• Candidate should have BE / B.Tech degree in Electronics / Communication / Instrumentation Engg

Mechanical Engineering (Armament or Combat Engineering):

• Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering

Materials Science & Technology:

• Candidate should have BE, B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Metallurgy / Materials Science / Mechanical Engineering / Production Tech / Materials Engg, Ceramic Engg, Chemical Engg, Polymer Engg, Engineering Physics, Nanotechnology, M.Sc Equivalent in Physics / Chemistry or Nanotechnology

Lasers & Electro-optics:

• The candidate should possess a Masters degree or equivalent in Physics / Applied Physics / Electronics / Electronic Science or a BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Communication / Telecommunication / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Computer Science / Engineering Physics, M.Sc in Computer Science with Physics and Mathematics at graduate level

Modeling and Simulation:

• M.Sc in Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / OR / Computer Science (Provided mathematics is one of the subject at the graduate level), Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology. Proficiency in computer programming is essential

For Ph.D

• Candidate must have 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in ME / M.Tech for Ph.D in Engineering or Master of Science with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA for Ph.D in Science

Selection Procedure:
For M.Tech

• Selection of candidate is based on valid GATE score and candidates also have UGC-CSIR NET Certificate.

For Ph.D

• Selection of candidate is based on performance in written test conducted by department and performance in personal interview.

How To Apply:

• Candidates have to apply online, on www.diatonline.co.in. Application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC / ST candidates) per programme is required to be paid by online to DIAT Power Jyoti Account No 32020073738 with SBI Girinagar Branch, Pune 411025.
• The application has to be uploaded as per the instructions provided in the website, www.diatonline.co.in. No hard copy to be sent to DIAT. However, candidates have to bring a print out of the application submission confirmation along with proof of payment, at the time of test / interview.
