National Law University (NLU), Law Admission 2012

NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY (NLU), DELHI established in 2008 by Act No.1 of 2008 of National Capital Territory of Delhi and with the initiative of High Court of Delhi is another Law University in the list of premier law Universities established in India. The vision of the University is to create a Global Legal Institution which will compete with the best outside India and to prepare Lawyers for a legal career that introduces them to wide range of opportunities in legal profession across the globe. The University's State of Art infrastructure is near completion at Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi with all facilities for best of learning and research.

National Law University invites application for following courses related Law for academic year 2012:

  • BA. LL.B (Hons.)
  • LL.M
  • Ph.D

Eligibility:
For BA. LL.B (Hons.)
Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March / April, 2012 can also apply

For LL.M
Candidate must have passed LL.B. or an equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April / May, 2012 can also apply

For Ph.D
Candidate must have passed LL.M Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability)

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidate is based on AILET score conducted by National Law University (NLU).

Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Patna

How To Apply:
Interested candidates may apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) for General Candidates, Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in case of SC / ST and Persons with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi along with copies of requisite Caste / PD Certificate.

Students can also apply online and make payment of application fee by depositing Cash at Post Office / Axis Bank or with Credit / Debit Card and Netbanking.

Applications complete in all respects must be sent in person or by post, to the REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI, Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078, on or before 09-Apr-2012. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for any postal / courier delay.
