Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies invites application from eligible candidates for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2012 for following courses

NMIMS School of Business Management offers Two Year Full Time MBA Core, MBA-Acturial Science, MBA-Banking, MBA-Capital Market, MBA-HR, MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai campus and PGDM at Bengaluru & Hyderabad Campuses.

The test will be conducted in a time frame of 3 months starting from 31st October 2011, allowing choice of two retakes to the students should any of them wish. In such cases, the best of three scores being considered by NMIMS for admissions to MBA Core, MBA-Acturial Science, MBA-Banking, MBA-Capital Market, MBA-HR, MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai campus and PGDM at Bengaluru & Hyderabad Campuses.

NMIMS will also be admitting foreign students and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO). This is to internationalize the learning experience. Also, to reach out to the Indian Diaspora and the world, NMIMS has decided to admit sons/daughters and wards of Persons of Indian Origin. All these students will be admitted on the basis of GMAT score.

Admissions to all these programs are through NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) followed by Group Discussions/ Personal Interview. The online registration for NMAT will start from 1st August, 2011.

Courses Offered NMIMS

1. MBA CORE
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

2. MBA Actuarial Science
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics / Mathematics /Engineering /Economics / Computer Science with minimum 50% marks in Aggregate in first attempt.
Candidates with Professional Qualifications like A.C.A. (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) & ICWA (Institute of Cost & Works Accountant of India) can also apply

3. MBA Banking
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

4. MBA Capital Market
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

5. MBA HR – Selection process is separate
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

6. MBA Pharmaceutical Management – Selection process is separate
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BSMS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.

7. PGDM – Bangalore Campus
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

8. PGDM – Hyderabad Campus
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

The candidate should note that it is important for them to perform well relative to other candidates in each of the 3 sections of the test as the score of each section and the overall score will be used to shortlist the candidate for the second stage of the selection process as well as in the final ranking. Please note that there will be no negative marking.


Normal Registration
• Rs.1650/- for normal registration for FT MBA Programmes (Mumbai Campus) or PGDM
Programme (In case of first two options mentioned above).
• Rs. 2000/- for both FT MBA & PGDM Programme (In case of third option).
